Welcome

IV Sedation Courses for Dentists

Proudly sponsored by St Joseph’s University Medical Center, a renowned teaching hospital with three CODA-approved residencies, and affiliated with Touro College of Dental Medicine, we offer our Parenental Sedation Course, administered by the American Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry (ASAASD). Add the intravenous modality to your dental practice with our IV sedation dentistry course. Our philosophy defines patient anxiety control as a continuum from nitrous oxide inhalation through moderate conscious sedation.

Our program provides an intensive didactive review of the science of sedation through the experiences of our highly educated faculty. We are located in a hospital setting treating patients during their medical and dental treatments. Therefore our clinical experiences are real live sedations on actual patients receiving their care by the residents of the hospital. Often we additionally rotate through the endoscopic clinic as well as the operating room.
